According to the sorting status quo and the specific problem of Shaqu coal preparation plant in Huajin Coking Coal Ltd., the separation scheme that selects TBS interference bed separator for 1 ~ 0.25 mm coarse coal slime was put forward. The characteristics of TBS interference bed separator were introduced, the principle and separation process,  the key factors of influence of TBS interference bed separation were expounded. It is necessary to control raw coal quality, in-material particles, water flow, mine pressure, the sealing of underflow valves and density. The practice shows that equipment operation is relatively stable, the effect is good.
