Abstract The specialty of close distance coal seam geological condition makes roadway maintain difficult after upper coal seam mining,influenced by overlying strata goaf while low coal seam recovery. Based on adjacent working face influenced by mining,russ anchor rope support technology to control roadway surrounding rock deformation was put forward. Through the geotechnical engineering analysis software FLAC2D,numerical simulation were conducted to arch section of conventional anchor cable (rope),truss anchor rod (rope) support,roadway roof subsidence,two sides plastic zone and the stress field distribution around were settled in the two support. Through mining engineering practice,truss anchor cable (rope) support provided guiding significance for improving the stability of roadway.
