Shell coal gasification process is the representative of the second generation of clean coal gasification technology and has a wide range of applications.A more comprehensive set of removal system for Shell process which based on theoretical and practical experiences was summarized.The running processes and normal working conditions of the Shell gasifier slag removal system,the principles and the reasons of blocking slag were introduced. Some situations such as the ministry of the slag pool bridge, V1402 taper bridge, V1403 taper bridging were detailedly introduced,and the reasons of a variety of situations were analyzed, the solutions were introduced.
