Abstract 3 d seismic exploration methods and many other seismic interpretation technical measures were used, combined with borehole data, good geological effects in terms of identifying faults case and the impact on coal-bearing strata in Zhanglou and Shanji of Guoyang county exploration area were achieved. The fault gaps was greater than 10 m and resolved the problems about unclear construction in deep mining area to explore the process of roadway layout, which provided reliable protection of geological conditions for the efficient production of mine safety and development.
